POC Management were invited to provide technical security solutions for the new constructed Murphy complex in Leeds, after impressing the client with our technical solutions on the REAL project.
The system was designed from scratch to create a completely bespoke solution. The installation was scheduled to coincide with the construction schedule, meaning we could work during first fix, second fix and final fix stages, as well as having the initial input in the ground preparation for ducting layouts.
Our technical experts installed and commissioned a complete security system, comprising of smart CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Intercoms and automated gates.
Our smart CCTV solution uses analytic software that allows us to create live-time alerts when people or objects enter a certain area. By using line-crossing and dwell-time settings, we are able to detect intruders and protect sensitive areas. This system is monitored out-of-hours by our Control Room, granting access and egress to the site, monitoring the analytic cameras and remotely setting the building alarms.
Our ability to work closely with the client at all key times of the build led to an extremely efficient installation of a robust security system. This model has been repeated at various other J Murphy & Sons sites, which includes system installation, maintenance and remote monitoring.
The nature of these additional sites has allowed us to explore other technologies such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and thermal imaging. Our analytic software works seamlessly with our thermal cameras, allowing us to utilise detection software on long perimeters with less cameras.
